A quick Fix
The higher that you keep your mental vibration, the better things you can bring to yourself that are also at that higher vibrational level.
For instance, when you are start out having a really great day – things just seem to fall into place and keep getting better. However, it works the opposite way as well. When you are having a bad day and are vibrating at a lower level, one bad thing after another seems to occur.
So obviously the trick is to do everything in your power to stay at a higher vibrational level. Sounds easy enough, but as you know, sometimes hard to put into practice in everyday life.
It sounds great to have someone tell you ‘just think positive’- ‘You’ll be okey’ but how do you do that after you have just had a disagreement, an argument, a kick off.
The answer is mental distraction and this is where great technology, your computer can come in. ( Forget sex ). I have experienced that sometimes you just can’t get a bad mood out of your system on your own.You better believe I try, however I go roud and round in circles with what ever has affected me. My friends always suggest meditation, I find it so hard to sit quiet and practice this.
Places like YouTube can offer a fun and an easy quick fix. There are so many entertaining, funny and inspiring videos that you can obtain in as little as 5 minutes that can give you the distraction that you need, if even for just a few moments.
For instance, I watch clips of the sunrise as I’m writing. I write as the sun rises and if it’s a bit of a bleak grey sunrise I tap in Sunrise and I watch my favourite one. Soothing sunrise in Tasmania. It works.I listen to the ocen and watch the sky. It’s beautiful.
I don’t know about you, but I find I can’t help but feel inspired every time I watch a sunrise.
If you find yourself in a place where you just can’t seem to get the energy up to accomplish what lies before you on a certain day, I highly recommend laughter. I love laughter – who doesn’t.
How about an inspirational ending of one of your favourite movies? Want inspiration? Watch the last 5 minutes of the Shawshank Redemption . The final scene to Thelma and Louise does it for me to and has me in tears every time.
Looking for a spiritual boost? What ever tickles your fancy at a particular time. Festival viewing works for me..I love to watch musical clips to and listen to old songs. Been wtching Donny Osmand today and the Osmand brothers singing ‘Let me in’. I met an old friend at weekend at a festival and his fresh boyish face reminded me of him.
Give yourself a ten minute boost period.
BUT !
Most importantly, do not feel guilty about it or feel as if you are just wasting time. You cannot put your time to better use, than making yourself feel better first – before taking any kind of action from a negative place.
So, go on – make yourself feel better in a quick, cheap and easy way! I love this kind of feel good way I have developed, beats instant gratifacation where I’m geting myself into trouble.
I have to say though – I sometimes do get a bit tempted with the other naughty Tube Site. I sometimes have look there to. Hehe!!! Only recently I have to say. It’s not very good for me, leaves me frustrated. Smiling.

Healing through directing ourselves from habitual negativity to thoughts and experiences that we find positive and enjoyable.
This post nudges me to put together the Postive Mental Attitude song mix that I’ve been wanting to do for years. YEARS! Music has often been a way for me to uplift myself, or at least, feed myself with energy of a slightly higher vibrational frequency. You are helping me see how simple and effective and intrinsically good this simple activity of diversion can be. Existing in depression or anxiety is harming; actively choosing to change/heighten my vibrational being in a beneficial and simple way is caring. This caring is compassionate for ourselves. This caring is choosing goodness over habitual suffering.
Thank you.
I’ll let you know a few of the songs I put in the playlist.

Hi green.
OH! DO IT. I would love to hear it. Yes music for me is such an easy and simple way to uplift my spirits and energy level’s to that little bit of an higher frequencey level, an higher vibrational level.
I think thro songs/music. I feel through songs/music and Ibelieve through songs and music.
I love to share songs and music with people. I have my moments of making Cd’s for friends. It’s usually when I’m feeling something quite powerful for someone, I tell them in songs what I sometimes can’t say in words vocaly or written.
